Polls shirtfront Abbott after G20

8 Emotions Aussies Felt During The G20

Embarrassed, cringing, ashamed, aghast, are just some of the feelings Australians would have had over the G20 summit. Watching our gormless PM trash our standing in front of the biggest gathering of world leaders this country has ever had, appears to have cemented any doubts any Australians had about his capacity to lead our nation; he cannot. Him and his gov are fossil fools. Imbeciles. They belong in a playground, not in the halls of power.

I predicted another Abbott poll dive over the weekend. I wasn't wrong. In fact today's polls put his gov back where it was after the disastrous budget release. Gone are any effects from the Ukraine plane fiasco. His grovelling attempts to use dead Australians for political gain have if anything, backfired.

The online commentary is savage. It's ripping him a new asshole. Must say I find it salivating to read, albeit it's come at the expense of Australia's longstanding international reputation.

In short, the village idiot is running the show. World leaders must be wondering how the fuck he ended up there.
The survey also found Labor had strengthened its electoral leadership 55 per cent to 45 per cent on a two-party preferred basis.

These are almost exactly the same figures recorded six months ago after the May Budget — now considered one of the most unpopular economic statements in recent decades.

Polling by Morgan also has found there was no lift for Mr Abbott from the $400 million G20 summit in Brisbane at the weekend.

Labor senator Sam Dastyari said the polls were a disaster for the Government and were linked to the Budget’s unpopularity.

“World leaders must be wondering why Australia sent the village idiot to the G20. What an embarrassing performance for the PM,” said Senator Dastyari.

“To have the entire leaders of the world together and use that as an opportunity to talk about your GP tax and the fact you can’t anything through your Senate, Prime Minister you can’t get anything through the Senate because they’re bad policies.

“No one wants them and it’s just embarrassing that Tony Abbott is out there on the world stage acting like the village idiot.” more
