Is QLD next to fall to Labor?

I made some comments recently about my disbelief that the idiot Lieberals still had Abbott as their leader, that he will surely drive them to polling oblivion, and that it was already happening. I gave the example of Victoria before it's election saying it looked gone for all money, and that would entrench an air of change in the nation. Giving also the example of the remarkable turnaround for Labor in Queensland after it's Newman Lieberal gov soon to end it's first term in office.

Well I'm no fortune teller, but I'd have to say all of this so far looks to be coming true. The Lieberals have lost Victoria and it appears the Victorian win has given Queensland Labor new vigour with polls coming out now to be even or a touch ahead of first term Newman.
With only slightly more than one in four electors supporting Labor in 2012, Queensland Labor was reduced to just seven seats in an 89-seat chamber – the party’s worst result since in 1891. But Labor’s recovery under leader Annastacia Palaszczuk - deep within what is arguably Australia’s most conservative and masculine political culture – is perhaps the most staggering turnaround of all.

After a year in opposition, Labor’s vote had barely improved. By early this year, Labor had closed the gap to a few points. Last weekend, a ReachTEL poll echoed two other recent surveys that placed Queensland Labor level with – or even slightly ahead of – the LNP Newman government.

On these figures, Queensland is close to following Victoria in dumping a first-term government sometime early next year. If the LNP does fall, it will be the first majority government to lose after a single term in Queensland since the conservative Moore government in 1932 – again because of the Great Depression.more
I note that Newman doesn't want Abbott's help up there during the QLD election campaign....... Not that I think that will help. Newman is Tone's bestest everest conservative buddy. Newman was slashing and burning long before Abbott came to power.

Indeed the Labor election scare campaign during Tone's federal election that he was going to be a federal version of the Newman gov was starting to bite in QLD (very important state for the Lieberals) at which time Abbott got on the telly and gave his now famous lies of "no cuts".

Again, it's astonishing that the Lieberals are holding onto Abbott as PM. Can't they see what's happening? Are they really that delusional and blind?
