Before Abbott became PM there was the Gillard gov, which she was able to form by getting the support of independents, one of them being Independent Tony Windsor. Gillard easily beat Abbott at negotiating to form said gov.
Here Windsor reveals some of what Abbott said to him in this negotiating period. My mouth fell open at the very end bit.
