Living in today - dealing with anxiety

After the last few days of feeling anxious about the crisis we went through last year, today I'm reminding my self and making an effort to live presently; in the present day and moments. Being aware of today and what's happening around me today.

This is a very useful strategy in dealing with the anxiety. Living in the past and feeling that anxiousness isn't helpful. Or worrying about the future and being anxious about that. Simply to live, now, in the present space and time..... The present is the only true reality, as the past is over and the future unpredictable. To spend one's time in the past or the future is to take attention away from the present, and to miss what's happening in life right now.
