Senate to vote on cuts to parental leave soon - sign petition to them

Are all Abbott's chooks coming home at once?

Wow, and it's all of their own making. Incompetent buffoons they are. Lurching from self made crisis to self made crisis.

Now those cuts that Abbott announced in the last "friendly" budget that about $79,000 parents will lose leave time having to work instead to make up the money. The senate is going to vote on passing these cuts or not into law. This petition is going to the crossbench senators who hold the balance of power and can send the vote either way. Please sign and stick it to Abbott.

What does Abbott think? That he can fuck people over like this in the community (new families none the less) and then think they're going to like them? There must be psychosis in there somewhere I reckon.

On Mother's Day the Abbott government announced its play to cut the paid parental leave rights of new mums and dads. These cuts will take leave time away from 79,000 new families.

In a couple of weeks the federal Senate will have to decide whether or not these approve the cuts - and tear leave time away parents of newborns.

The vote is going to be tight -- so tight that it will be decided by a handful of cross bench Senators who still haven't declared how they're going to vote.

We know that the cross bench often listen closely to community concerns about the impact of budget measures. Can you help show the cross bench Senators that Aussie families oppose this cruel cut? Sign the petition to join the campaign. sign here
