Complete remission of HIV is achevable - scientist Françoise Barré-Sinoussi

The scientist who discovered the HIV virus in 1986 is retiring. However she closes her research saying that complete remission of the HIV virus is achievable. Although not a cure, it would mean you wouldn't have to take HIV meds all your life.
