Abbott digs in, publicly refuses to resign

The plot thickens.........

So, the last few days Team Abbott has been in a huddle fending of the doomsayer barbarians from their world view of themselves. I imagine there was much mateship, patting on the backs of, and general self aggrandisement aplenty. Convinced of their superiority over us mere mortals, they have now broken from the huddle. Freshly bearing the overconfident signs that can only be displayed by the psychotic, saying things like Tone's a wonderful leader bla bla... and other stuff that's the bullshit of bullshit and nobody even pretends to take it seriously.

Abbott says his popular MP's are popular because he's a wonderful leader and has anointed them via his being said wonderful leader. Abbott's remaining inner circle are all singing like petrified chooks now just what a wonderful leader Abbott is bal bla....  and other stuff that's from a psychotic delusion again. Black is white in Abbott land. He's a good leader, it's the selling of policy, it's those pesky pawns at the bottom fighting back, it's that bloody Credlin, it's anyone's fault but mine.

In this psychosis he has now dug in and publicly refused to resign.

This now has taken on a new angle. This could be the bloodiest disposing of a leader for decades!
Tony Abbott says he remains determined to continue as Prime Minister, in spite of reports the Queensland election result has doomed his leadership.

Some federal Coalition MPs have described the LNP's loss in Queensland as "catastrophic" for the party and potentially terminal for Mr Abbott's leadership.

Queensland MPs Jane Prentice and Warren Entsch have both said there now need to be "discussions" about the issue, but Tony Abbott says he will not resign.

"The people of Australia elected me as Prime Minister and they elected my government to get on with the job of governing our country," he told reporters in Sydney today. more
