As yet more and more women come forward citing episodes of Trump's sexual transgressions against them, those people who a few months ago were so condemning of gays to attract the religious vote, are now still supporting Trump. Going to all kinds of stretches of the imagination and mental gymnastics to spin the revelations positively.

Honestly, which one is worse? Trump saying these things, or the christian right defending them?

Anti-gay Nazi posters plastered over university - Australian plebiscite files

I came across this picture on Twitter a couple of days ago and it was so extreme I thought it was a joke. But it isn't. These posters were plastered everywhere over Swinburne University's walls before Labor announced it would vote down the plebiscite.

There's no doubt in my mind that the plebiscite debate was the inspiration for the posters. This is the so called "respectful" debate the Lieberals keep banging on about.

Imagine being gay and seeing that at a young and vulnerable age. Yeah, it's strikes a chord alright. Nothing like a good old gay bashing eh?

Well then, who's the Nazi's now? 

A neo-Nazi poster urging people to gun down gay and transgender people has been plastered on Swinburne University's walls, raising fears the toxic homophobic campaign was triggered by the plebiscite debate. 

Students arriving at the university's Hawthorn campus on Monday morning were confronted with an illustration of a skeletal man wearing a T-shirt reading "Gay and Proud", with a bullet through his head. The poster, which included a swastika, was titled "Get the sodomite filth off our streets". 

Fairfax Media has chosen not to name the people behind the poster. They claim to belong to an organisation that has no online history. This could be the work of as few as one person. 

The posters were stuck onto the university's walls on the day of an annual gay pride event, which included a pride march and a speaking session featuring former High Court judge Michael Kirby and Victoria's Gender and Sexuality Commissioner Rowena Allen. 

It also came the day before Opposition Leader Bill Shorten is due to outline his final position on the marriage equality plebiscite to the ALP caucus before the party adopts a formal stance – almost certainly for a free vote in Parliament as the only way forward. 

The university's security officers ripped down most of the posters overnight, and pasted flyers promoting the student-led gay pride event in their place. The Age

 

Trump's creepy comment to 10yr old - "I'll be dating her in 10yrs" (video)

Yet another video has emerged of Trump's creepy obsession with treating women like sex objects for his ego. This one more so as the girl is only ten years old.

It's even more creepy as you can hear the girls voice replying to Trump before he says "I'll be dating her in ten years". 

 

Trump "like an octopus" on flight - woman recounts story (video)

More and more stories from women over the years are now surfacing on Trump's treatment of them as sex objects.

This video from the New York Times is of a woman recounting what happened to her on a flight (she was a business woman) when she was moved to first class and ended up sitting next to Trump. She describes his hands were all over her, and that he was like an octopus with eight arms.

She only started telling her story a year and a half ago when it became clear Trump was running for president.

Trump has denied the story.

 

NSW parliament passes motion calling Trump "revolting slug" - video

How much more official can it get. The motion was introduced by the Greens and passed unanimously. There was some confusion whether "revolting slug" was un-parliamentary language but in the end as it wasn't referring to another member of parliament it was allowed.

So it's official and on record in NSW that Trump is a revolting slug. This may be the first time he's been called that officially:

As allegations of his sexually improper behaviour pour forth, the NSW upper house has passed a motion condemning Donald Trump and endorsing a description of the Republican nominee as a "revolting slug".

Greens MLC Jeremy Buckingham's motion condemning Mr Trump was passed without objection or a formal vote on Thursday morning.

"[This house] agrees with those who have described Mr Trump as 'a revolting slug' unfit for public office," the motion read.

In a reference to Mr Trump's recently revealed remarks about grabbing women, Mr Buckingham said that all "reasonable and decent people find Donald Trump's behaviour obnoxious".

President of the Legislative Council Don Harwin​ allowed the motion only after looking into whether the term "revolting slug" amounted to unparliamentary language. Sydney Morning Herald

The Greens also want the federal senate to pass a motion condemning Trump in similar sort of language, going even further calling Trump a "sexual predator": 

Greens Leader Senator Richard Di Natale said, "Donald trump has once again shown himself to be a sexist and racist pig who is completely unfit for office. 

“The standard we walk past is the standard we accept so Australian political leaders need to call out these disgraceful comments. This is why the Greens are introducing a motion into the Senate today that condemns the hateful, misogynistic comments that Mr Trump has made throughout his campaign. 

“Hateful comments against women and people from different backgrounds have no place in modern society and these are the moments in which we must take a stand. I hope all Senators will meet this challenge and I call on every member of the Senate give a clear commitment that they will support this motion and not make racist, sexist comments in this chamber and outside it,” concluded Senator Di Natale. 

Deputy Leader and Greens Spokesperson for Women, Senator Waters labelled Mr Trump a ‘sexual predator’ and added, “This is criminal sexual assault that this man is promulgating against just about any woman that walks past him. 

“Sexual assault should never be bragged about or dismissed as banter,” concluded Senator Waters. The Greens   

Greens new way forward marriage equality - free vote parliament

The Greens, along with rainbow families, laid out the new way forward for marriage equality in the parliament.

It's started already. The pressure on Turnbull to allow a parliamentary free vote will only increase from here.

This should not be about the internal machinations of the Lieberal party, but about marriage equality for the LGBT. To deny us such simply because the Lieberal party can't get itself together is obscene.

 

 

US fuckwit attacks Australian commentary of Trump - Rebel Media

OMG. My head hurts from the stupid!

Let me start by posting the Waleed Ali clip from Twitter who basically said nothing much more than reiterating the horror of the world at Trump's exposure of his experience at committing sexual violation of women. Nothing new here, just an Australian view of Trump. Waleed Ali explains it well in quite an eloquent way:

We assumed in Australia that this would raise ire of Trumps supporters, but we never imagined such a personal attack on one of our revered political commentators. 

These Trump supporters are entirely and aggressively obscene.

We already reached the free prescriptions list

Far out. This is the earliest I've ever ended up on that. The PBS safety net for pensioners is 60 prescriptions a year per family/couple/person. 

Last year David and I (being registered with Centrelink as a couple to be paid accordingly) reached it at about the end of November, but have had a few more things to take this year. Kept count on some paper and was surprised at how fast it was all building up.

It doesn't even include the HIV meds as they're free anyway thanks to the NSW gov.

So hooray, now we have two and a half months before the end of the year where every prescription we get is free. Whew, what a relief. Even though it was only $6.20 for each one, some fortnights we'd spend $40 or so just on prescriptions.

Plus, no more waiting for a few days because we haven't got the money to get them filled, we can get them anytime. The other week David was low on asthma spray and had terrible coughing, but we just didn't have the $6.20 to get the script filled and had to wait three days when more money came in.

They all know us at the local chemist we go to now. I think we're the token gay couple or something.  

Entsch joins the Lieberal conga line of dummy spitters - plebiscite

There's things in the press release above that show Entsch in some ways is as ignorant about marriage equality as the rest of the Lieberals are, even though he supports marriage equality. 

He talks of "open slather in a political debate". Seriously? WTF has it been so far then, a walk in the park? The political commentary coming from the no side in Canberra has been nothing less than open slather. Most recently we've had Barnyard saying the LGBT haven't been offended, along with Abetz promoting gays to "come out" as straight and to be celebrated. We've had Bernadi and Christensen telling us how terrible we are with some kind of Marxist agenda to take over the world. We've had the ACL, supported by members of the gov, call us Nazi's. With a right wing cartoonist depicting us as so. Does it get any more open slather than that?

Then he uses the excuse the party took it to the election. The party also took Abbotts no cuts to the last election and spectacularly broke the promise only months later. Most recently there was the back packer tax back flip. It beggars belief that the gov is using "keeping a promise" as the reason for a plebiscite. The assertion of the party on this is to treat us all like fools.

Then most ignorantly of all, he assumes that the issue will go away and people will focus on something else. Is he for fucking real? We're never going away and it will remain a white hot issue for us until it's resolved. The fact that the Lieberals find themselves now under such political pressure from the LGBT isn't going to change. The longer they refuse a free vote, the more frustrated and angry about 70% of the poplulation will become, including famous people like Kylie Monogue who has vowed with her fiance not to marry until marriage equality happens in Australia.

The answer is simple. A free vote and it's done. To not take part in that is to expose the Lieberal party for a bunch of homophobic bigots who will stand against us to the bitter end. As not part of mainstream Australia, and not deserving of public office. 

We killed the plebiscite! - Hooray! - Labor blocks it

Victory darlings! We did it! We stopped the hate!

In a move that will really piss off the Australian Christian Lobby and all those associated with it's hate of the LGBT, Labor has sided with the Greens and the Nick Xenophon Party to block the plebiscite legislation in the senate. We might as well say it's dead, buried, and cremated :) 

All those emails we sent to all those politicians in Canberra, all the representation our community gave against the plebiscite, all those who came out in support of us, we did it! 

Now it's time to put the pressure on Turnbull. After saying for months that the only way to achieve marriage equality is through a plebiscite, suddenly the elephant in the room has roared. The only way now to achieve it is the other way that's been available all along; a free parliamentary vote. 

The same-sex marriage plebiscite is dead in the water after Labor MPs finally agreed to block the proposal in the Senate at a caucus meeting on Tuesday. 

The decision casts marriage equality off into the never-never, with the Turnbull government adamant a plebiscite is the only way of achieving reform in this term of Parliament, and one Coalition MP already threatening to bring down the government if that is changed. 

Labor tussled with the issue for weeks but hardened its resolve after consulting with gay and lesbian advocacy groups and mental health experts, with Opposition Leader Bill Shorten at one point declaring a public vote on same-sex marriage could lead vulnerable people to suicide. 

A source inside the Labor caucus indicated the discussion took less than 15 minutes and was resolved unanimously. 

Mr Shorten on Tuesday said he had not heard a good argument for the plebiscite and reiterated Labor's view that it was unnecessary, expensive and had the potential to cause mental ill health among LGBTI people. The Guardian

Trump called "a sexual predator" by Australian senator Hinch (video)

New Australian senator Derryn Hinch is aghast at Pauline Hanson being a Trump apologist. Yes, Hanson is for Trump, no surprises there BTW. The on air discussion got so heated that there's footage of afterwards as well arguing in the corridor.

Hanson reckons all men talk like Trump in private, WTF? She's fuckin sick in the head if she really believes that. That's along the same lines as Trump brushing it off as locker room talk in the debate.

Hinch is unimpressed to say the least, and calls Trump a sexual predator.

Don't like the chances of the Australia/US alliance remaining as it is if Trump by some stellar miracle actually wins.

The body language of Trump in this is really telling. You just know he wants to start yelling at this upstart woman who's crucifying him on live TV.

Hillary points out the obvious, saying the sex tape is very much who Trump is. 

 

Bernadi says US may "do quite well" out of Trump presidency

Yesterday Angry Aussie did a big rant about the hypocrisy of fundamentalist christians backing Trump for president, even after his egregious comments recorded about sexual assault of women. Well we now have Cory Bernadi, Australia's Canberra religious nutbag (along with a few others) saying that the US may well do quite well out of a Trump presidency.

You see Bernadi is quite happy to oppose the LGBT every step of the way, but Trump is just fine and dandy. Go figure....

 
Meanwhile, Trump sidetracks to all the evil in the world when asked about the sex tapes.

 

Hypocrite evangelicals supporting Trump despite sex tapes - Angry Aussie

The wolves are circling the Trump wagon train folks. Angry Aussie thus makes a contribution to the Trump siege, pointing out the sheer and utter hypocrisy of evengelical christians supporting Trump despite his sexual assaults of women.

A tape of Donald Trump making extremely crude remarks about women is putting evangelical leaders who endorsed him in a tougher spot than almost anyone else in the Republican Party — and on Friday, two of the country’s most powerful Christian conservative leaders did not disavow him. 

“Voters of faith are voting on issues like who will protect unborn life, defend religious freedom, create jobs, and oppose the Iran nuclear deal,” Faith and Freedom Coalition president Ralph Reed said in an email to BuzzFeed News. “Ten-year-old tapes of private conversation with a television talk show host rank very low on their hierarchy of concerns.” 

Asked if he had any comment on the tape itself and if he was definitely standing by Trump, Reed said, “I think the statement is self explanatory.”
