A plebiscite is a farce with no legal binding

No wonder Abbott suggested a plebiscite. Turns out it has nothing in it that binds a gov to follow what the people vote for at all. If Abbott didn't like the vote there's nothing to say that he simply would ignore it. He's ignored everything else, why would he pay attention to this?

So, not only are we supposed to trust Abbott in the unlikely event of a second term Abbott gov, that he would actually have a plebiscite in the first place, but also that he would follow the wishes of the people in the plebiscite as well. Good grief. Trust Abbott? Ha ha ha ha ha ...........
