Lieberals in a spin; Canning candidate - hand cutting controversy

Oh dear.

The new Lieberal candidate picked for the Canning by election next month is from the army, and was in a bit of a controversy whilst at war.
Charges are being considered against a Special Air Service (SAS) corporal over an incident in Afghanistan in 2013 that saw him remove the right hands of three dead Taliban fighters.

In August last year, the ABC revealed a group of soldiers from the elite SAS Regiment were under investigation for cutting off the hand of at least one Afghan insurgent.

The ABC has now learned that a total of three right hands were removed from dead insurgents' bodies and taken back to the Australian base in Afghanistan.

The offence occurred on April 28 last year when SAS troops were dispatched to Zabul province as part of a combined operation involving the Afghan National Security Forces and Australia's Special Operations Task Group. more
Now the Lieberals are all insulted at tweets about him :s
