Indiana pizza shop owners speak of "human compassion" - WTF?
They just honestly don't get it. They lit the spark of hate and blame everyone else when the bomb explodes in their face. I find it incredibly insulting to have someone who has said they would refuse service to gays because they're gay, speak of "human compassion".
Yes the hate mail and all must have been terrible and nobody with half a brain would agree with it. But who's fault was it? Who got up and said to the whole fuckin world that they wouldn't provide service to gays because of who they are? Did they not realise that the world is a bigger place than hick town? Did they honestly think there wasn't going to be any reaction to what they were saying?
Imagine if they had of said that about blacks, or Jews? Imagine the international outrage? But oh no, because it's the gays we're not supposed to react right? Just be good little gay people and go hide somewhere and let their words of religious hate go unchecked.
I've little sympathy for them now whinging about the hate mail. You go centre stage, you take the consequences mate. I don't feel sorry for them at all. I think they got a very human reaction from people who are just sick to death of christian hate.
BTW the money as far as I'm concerned is absurd. A reward for their small minded bible bashing. How obscene. IMO they should donate the lot to charity.
