Ugh. Haven't had a cold or flu for ages, but this one is a doozy. Last three days have got this really red and inflamed throat, along with all the rest of it; croaky voice, aching, headache, fever. Must have got it on the buses. So bad it hurts to even eat or drink anything.
Saw doctor today and he put me on antibiotics. Don't like taking them as they strip all the good bacteria out of your digestive system and I feel sick from that. But anything's better than dealing with a throat like this.
