A doctor got a bit clobbered by the tail and went to hospital, although he certainly doesn't look worse for wear from the picture. It must have been an amazing experience for him, despite his injury :)

Whale with surfers - Bondi Beach
This was brilliant, just saw it on the morning news on the telly. A big humpback whale on it's usual migration along the coast, yesterday got more curious than the usual and came very close to shore on Bondi Beach (not far from where I am). In doing so the surfers nearby got curious as well and moved closer.
A doctor got a bit clobbered by the tail and went to hospital, although he certainly doesn't look worse for wear from the picture. It must have been an amazing experience for him, despite his injury :)
