Hollywood propaganda?

Honestly, the crap that comes out of Hollywood these days just isn't worth watching most of the time. Most of it is simply action films asserting the notion that we're constantly on the verge of being attacked by some evil (non-West) group. The sort of ones where you have to take your brain out and sit there like a vegetable.

Are these films just trying brainwashing on all of us? With movies like this coming out it might be hard to prove otherwise. complete with an exploding White House.

If so, is this why anyone with half a brain wouldn't bother going to see such drivel. Especially with Snowden ripping apart the secrets of the NSA, these movies look incredibly lame to me, despite all the eye catching explosions and special effects. It's almost like they (whoever "they" are) want us to be entertained but stupid. Numbly believe the images on the screen as being at least partially true, as far as our emotions are concerned anyway.

We must fear the terrorists! They're about to get us! We must be ready! We must be brave! If you're not for us, you're against us! We're at war! ........ bla bla bla........
