I will never vote for Rudd

Kevin Rudd, apparently Labor's saviour after the party ditched Gillard, has released one of the most appalling asylum seekers policies ever to enter into the political arena in Canberra. Moving to neutralise the issue and not give Tony Abbott any steam with it, he has come up with what I can only call "disgusting":

As of today asylum seekers who come here by boat without a visa will never be settled in Australia more

I never imagined such an abandonment of vulnerable people could happen in Australia. I never thought an Australian gov would stoop so low in the appeasement of Australian racists. Howard's demonisation of asylum seekers is nothing compared to this.

Where is the compassion? A country of only 23 million people, and those seeking asylum to our shores are told to fuck off. This election looks like it's going to be a putrid race to the bottom.

Abbott has led the charge from opposition, using the issue as a vote gainer. Labor has followed, stupidly thinking that racist appeasement is the way to the Lodge. 

Both of them, politicising the lives of the most vulnerable, call themselves Christians.....
