Russian cops sodomize Sochi worker

Fuck, just when you thought you'd heard it all. Yes it happened. The worker received intestinal injuries from the insertion of a "foreign object"; a fireman's crowbar.

But when Demerchyan, a 38-year-old Russian national, arrived the next day expecting to receive the 20,000 rubles ($600) he says he is owed, he was greeted by several burly policemen. He was cuffed and taken to the police station, where they urged him to sign a document admitting to the theft of the wire. When he refused, he claims, the officers put on boxing gloves and pummeled him, cracking two of his teeth . ”I lost consciousness,” he tells Vocativ. 

When Demerchyan awoke, he again refused to confess to the crime he says he did not commit. The police then allegedly bent him over, shoved his face to the ground and sodomized him with a red fireman’s crowbar. more

As a unionist in a civilised country I find this shit really fuckin out there. Quite apart from the gay persecution that Russia has embarked on, it's also trampling all over worker's rights in the most extreme sense. This is not something that would happen in a civilised country such as Australia. Yet it's happening in Russia, in the very city that the Olympic games will be held in Sochi.
