Hate speech - The Sentinel Project

This is very interesting. It's a project put together to track hate speech around the world, with the view to prevent genocide occurring. Evidently genocide follows on from the demonisation of people and the hate speech used in that demonisation.

Formed in 2008, The Sentinel Project for Genocide Prevention is a non-profit organization based in Canada with members in several countries worldwide. The Sentinel Project's mission is to prevent the crime of genocide worldwide through effective early warning and cooperation with victimized peoples to carry out non-violent prevention initiatives. more  

There's also very interesting little graph things breaking down the current info gathered in the database into easily understandable interactive images. Like this one (go to the site for the interactive version).
