Stupid Christians in Nigeria

As Uganda's president has just signed into law the "jail for life" anti gay bill, and on top of the South African grass eating congregation who were walked on by their pastor before vomiting, I've had a bit of an urge to start looking at some of the crazy stupidity going on in African Christianity. I've a feeling that this might be a regular occurrence. So for my first little personal discovery, I came across this little gem from last year:

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) says that beginning on Friday, May 31, it will embark on a crusade to save the Christianity in Nigeria from annihilation. 

To be called “Operation Barbarossa,” MEND said its campaign will comprise bombing of mosques, hajj camps, Islamic institutions, large congregations in Islamic events and assassinations of clerics.” 

The declaration is contained in a statement said today signed by Jomo Gbomo. more

Wow, that's sounds like a full on crusade to me darlings.Christian terrorists darlings, no bones about it. If it looks like a turd, smells like a turd, then it really is a bloody turd. Here's a pic from the link of these crazy Christians:

Then something strange happened inside my head. The second paragraph of that quote sounded weirdly familiar......  Then.....  OMG! It's exactly what the US is doing to Pakistan in an undeclared drone war.

How many mosques have been targeted? How many social institutions blown up? How many weddings? How many elders? How many who were simply community leaders not involved even slightly in any kind of terrorism? So who are the real terrorists? To me it looks like the stupid Christians.

And then the conclusion came; We in the West are being just as stupid as the crazy Christians in Nigeria. We've got the same bloody uniforms FFS. We're just doing it with bigger weapons.
