Uganda wants gay tourists back now *pffffft*

They must be joking.

Suddenly, after passing Nazi type anti-gay laws, then repealing it, somehow now gays are supposed to believe they'll be welcome in Uganda with open arms. Man, what are they on :s

Apparently, during all the hoopla in Uganda over their anti-gayness, it didn't occur to anyone that the pink dollar would no longer be coming to Uganda as gays worldwide struck it off their holiday lists. BTW Ugandan tourism is worth nearly $2billion.

It seems that Ugandan gays aren't actually the evil threat they're being made out to be, especially when they stop spending their money.
Tanzella said, ‘The delegation said that gay people are welcome.

'They were very concerned about the perception of Uganda in Western Europe and North America, and claimed that the backlash caught them by surprise.

'No-one thought it would pass. The delegates all pointed out that they have friends and family who are gay.’

He said Uganda was a long way off from joining IGLTA and first would have to go through a ‘process of education.’

In a statement released in March the UTB said, 'The controversy currently surrounding the Anti Homosexuality Act 2014 is exaggerated.

'No gay person will be killed in Uganda. - See more
