Personally I think he should be seeking mental health advice, but now that's up to the people of his electorate Warringah at the election this year. Will they decide to keep Tone's on or will they vote for someone else other than Lieberal? Being as it's a super safe Lieberal seat my guess is that Abbott will remain in Canberra after the next election.
And why? Well apparently he wants to be PM again and simply cannot accept that he was ousted. Team Abbott was god's gift to Australia according to him. He still thinks his gov was a good one. FFS the guy belongs in an asylum!
Tony Abbott is expected to recontest his Sydney seat of Warringah at this year's federal election in the hope of one day seizing back the prime-ministership.Oh the poor dear....
Liberal sources have reportedly told the The Daily Telegraph that Mr Abbott is "in mourning" after losing the top job and is being urged to remain in politics by his former chief of staff Peta Credlin.
The former PM is said to covet a return to the Lodge and has been adamant that he will not accept the runners-up prize of a high profile diplomatic posting like his former treasurer Joe Hockey.
"He appears from what people are saying to be quite bitter, quite resentful, in fact I think it's got worse," a Liberal source is quoted as saying. ninemsn
