Christensen says the Safe Schools program has been "gutted" but it doesn't look like that to me. We all know the inflammatory language Christensen uses, and I suspect he's exaggerating to try and save his idiot face from humiliation. Remember he wanted the whole program defunded (even though the Abbott gov implemented it) so this is hardly an all conquering victory on his part.
Still, the fact that Turnbull was bullied by a homophobic backbencher from loony land to change anything at all about Safe Schools is pathetic. I fear he's lost his balls and needs some help to find them again.
Christensen I'd reckon is one of those people who shouldn't have any power whatsoever. He doesn't belong in this century. I'd say he'd rather see gay teens kill themselves than have them "sexualised" (whatever the fuck that means) by the Safe Schools program.
News flash Christensen, humans are sexual beings. It's fundamental to who we are. To deny sexuality is to deny our very humanity. You don't just get to turn 16 and suddenly switch on your sexuality. Remember going through puberty? *sheesh*
