Big Brother winner proposes to his boyfriend

This was beautiful, on national telly here last night.


 
I don't watch Big Brother, it's such a crap show, but this was certainly worth viewing. It's time the politicians got with the bloody program man, literally. How much longer will this absurd situation go on in Australia? Two people who love each other, are engaged now, but can't get married anywhere in Australia simply because of their sexuality. That's so fucked up. 

Australian voters have long moved on from the attitudes of old. It's about time the politicians did too.
