This time is no exception. He's written some far right lunatic book that would fit perfectly with a US style tea party, but just has no place in modern Australia. I've been watching this latest vomit of his go forth from Canberra but haven't seen any point in giving his shit the attention that he so wants to get, but doesn't deserve. The howls of horrified opposition to his such incredibly extreme views gave a pretty good idea of what Australians think of this fuckwit.
Until now. And Bernadi isn't going to be happy about the latest developments with his latest spew. And it comes from his own Liberal party.
Liberal MP Warren Entsch has strongly criticised Bernadi, stopping just short of asking the question "Is Bernadi gay?":
Liberal MP Warren Entsch made the extraordinary attack on Senator Bernadi in Fairfax newspapers this morning after he said he cringed when he heard the South Australian senator's latest comments accusing some women of using abortion as "an abhorrent form of birth control" and rallied against "non-traditional" families.
"He's obviously got an obsession with people that are gay," Mr Entsch told Fairfax.
"It worries me.
"You've really got to watch out for those that have these obsessions. He who protests the loudest..." moreWell you've got to wonder don't you. It's widely known that much of those who are so anti-gay are that way because they're gay themselves; they struggle with their sexuality and try to suppress it. Hating that part of themselves they project that hatred onto those around them who are gay.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if one day he turned up photographed cruising a gay bar.
