Went and got the first of two bird flu vaccinations for the study I'm taking part in. Am supposed to now fill in a 1 week diary of any effects I feel. Like bruising on the arm or feeling nauseous. And they gave me a thermometer for daily temps in that time.
I've already had the normal flu vaccination that I get every year, and I've never had the slightest reaction to it, so I'm not expecting anything really. My arm's a bit sore but no bruises that I can see. Meh. A bit hard to put any nausea I feel down to the flu shot as I often feel nausea. Especially in the mornings after taking all the pills. The other day I spewed even and fuck know how many pills went with it.
I go back in three weeks for the booster shot. They also gave me $50 for my efforts yesterday.
