Still very wobbly in the morning. Have to be careful so I don't try and do too much straight off. The numbness in my scalp has decreased to about half. I'm really looking seriously like something out of a horror movie though, as the bruising around my eye comes out. Maybe looking a bit worse from the Betadine plastered all over the stitches though. Got a big bruise under my arm as well now. Feel like I've been hit by a bus.
After some thought I forwarded David's complaint about the other night in Emergency to one of the top specialists in charge of me in my nearly carking it episode a while back; the head of Infectious Diseases for the hospital. He played a big role in my treatment during and post hospital, and was the one who wrote a letter to help me get my superannuation out early for that $30,000 debt. He knows me well and would certainly do anything in his professional capacity to assist me.
Being as the issue in Emergency appeared to be concerning HIV stigma, I'm sure he would have huge concerns that he would want addressed over the events of that night.
