We have a lot more freedom of speech in this country from what I can see than the cow towwing to the corporate lobby group capitalist doctrines that these lot are chained to. Can this guy actually mention the facts about Australian gun laws and the facts about US gun massacres on Fox News live? Do that and then come and talk to us about freedom of speech.

But going to jail for expressing unpopular views? Honestly that is just out there. I'd have been locked up years ago if that was the case :) It was people power too that got rid of Abbott, despite Murdoch and all the corporations propping the fuckwit up. Did you lot get rid of Bush after only two years? No, you lot gutlessly and sheepily followed him down to loonyville, too fuckin scared to speak up about him whilst the rest of the world laughed in derision. Of course you lot took no notice, being the exceptional god blessed people that you are, convinced you were doing the right thing no matter what anyone said. Blinded by your own arrogance and self absorbed patriotism, spending billions on an un-winnable war.
How's that for an unpopular view then Fox fuckwits? BTW Australians are well known for their forthrightness and not beating about the Bush (pun intended).

Co-hosts Clayton Morris brought up Australia as a place that had strict gun controls, wrongly stating that people were banned from having firearms.
"They have no gun violence, they don't have guns, citizens aren't allowed to have guns," Morris said.
"They also have no freedom!" Carlson replied.
"You can go to prison for expression popular views and people do."
Carlson was referring to Australia's laws on hate speech, which aim to compensate those who are the victim of discrimination or vilification on account of their race, religion, disability or sexual orientation.
No one has been jailed under the laws, which differ from state to state. more
