We didn't go as we have a thing about big crowds these days. 300,000 people watching along the street, can you imagine? I think also this year it's a bit bitter-sweet with Turnbull completely disappointing the gay community and not allowing a free vote. Another Mardi Gras and another year we can't be married. Quite depressing really, and I'm sure that would have been on our minds had we attended.
I wasn't up for it healthwise anyway. Had a turn a week ago, some kind of panic attack, and haven't been feeling well since. Sort of weak and everything's a huge effort to accomplish. Didn't do the dishes for two days as I couldn't stand up long enough to do so.
