Haven't heard a thing from her since the last phone call of hers telling me I was dead to her, although have had an email discussion with her uncle out of Sydney. So it's with some humour that her new Medicare card has been sent to this address. It gets sent out at the same time as mine as I'm her father and she used to be on mine. Yes, I am now in possession of her new Medicare card.
So I've sent an email to her uncle asking him to contact her about it. Quite funny. Is she going to come and knock on our door to get it? Will she have the shits that Medicare actually recognises my alive-ness? Evidently I'm not "dead" to Medicare, or her uncle.
