Saw the doctor today and although the toxicity levels are still too high, they have come down some and at least heading in the right direction. So I'm OK to wait for the appt on Monday with the kidney specialist without anything drastic needing to be done.
Whilst doctor wrote the referral I explained how it's made me feel the last couple of days. How all those memories from 2010 came back and feeling very anxious. Told him some of the stuff that he hadn't realised, that if I'd not been rung by the Albion St c
Centre on the Friday to go straight to hospital the kidney specialist said I'd have been dead on Sunday.
So it's very understandable that I'd be feeling terrible about my kidneys going wrong again. Gladly it appears this time to be under control.
