28 million Centrelink calls in 7 months unanswered - senate estimates

That's more than the population of Australia FFS! Absolutely disgusting.

Since the beginning of the financial year on July, to the end of Jan 2017, there were 28 million calls that went unanswered. Some of them didn't even get a busy signal. Many of them were abandoned in the que.

Welcome to Lieberal infrastructure. Where you can't contact Centrelink and the internet is as slow as a wet week.

My doctor the other day had to ring up for my happy pill prescription (I take rather a lot of Efexor - 225mg/day) and it was the exact same hold music as Centrelink. We laughed about it, particularly when I said I sooooo wanted to smash that bloody violin!
