Gay $ head to New Zealand

I've noticed in the gay papers around lately adds for New Zealand to visit. No surprise there, NZ tourism is probably rubbing it's hands with glee over all this pink money coming their way. Barry O'Farrell must be shitting himself. Perhaps he's putting a bit of pressure on Canberra?

So here is the start of the gay avalanche to NZ. The first gay couple from Australia to be married in NZ.
Local vet Paul McCarthy will next week marry his partner of 11 years, Trent Kandler, in New Zealand, which has officially recognised same-sex marriage.
The couple won the wedding in a contest run by Tourism New Zealand. more
Get the picture Canberra? Get with the program or all the pink marriage money will end up in the NZ economy. Nothing else has seemed to work. Is the saying still true that money talks?
