Children of gays to be taken - Russia

Whilst it's not actually law yet, this is what's in the pipeline in Russia. Think the laws are already bad enough? Think again. This law will give the state the right to take children off gay parents. 

I can't think of anything more horrific, being a father myself. WTF would they do with these children after saving them from the so called evil clutches of their parents? Put them into their neglectful and abusive foster care system?

Mizulina has said the family committee she is chairing in the Duma lower house is writing a new family policy based on “traditional” values like registered heterosexual marriage and refusal of abortions. 

“We are looking into the possibility of creating a legal basis for taking children out of families that are de-facto gay marriages,” said Mizulina, who has also sponsored a bill banning adoptions by foreign same-sex couples. more
