Leftie presidential candidate draws huge anti-austerity crowds - US

Is the left lifting it's head out of it's 30 year slumber in the US? Bernie Sanders is drawing the biggest crowds so far in the presidential race, even more than Hillary. Is the reign of Reaganomics finally coming to an end?

I have to laugh at the scary way they say "Socialism" in the video, like it's some red under the bed. Democratic Socialism has been a feature of Australian politics for decades. It's only under Howard and the ultimate extremist Abbott in recent times that unbridled capitalist Reaganimics has even entered the public discourse, let alone policy. Indeed the reason for the senate bloodbath of Abbott's policies is because Australians see them as extremist capitalism and don't want a bar of them. Or as my Kiwi father put it years ago in the '90's, "Capitalism gone mad".
