Russian editor arrested under anti-gay laws

This is so fucked up. An editor has been arrested under Putins new "propaganda" laws. Not for saying anything himself, but because he directly quoted a teacher who was fired from his job for being gay.
The former educator had said: ‘My very existence is proof being gay is normal.’

The case file claims Suturin ‘distorted’ the picture of society by publishing the quote and such a statement is ‘contrary to the laws of logic’.
By exposing readers under the age of 18 to the article, the author ‘leads them astray to believe homosexuality is normal’. - See more
So there it is. In Putins Russia saying or even quoting "My very existence is proof being gay is normal" is an offence worthy of arrest.

I read shit like this, and you know even after all these months it still astonishes me that the West is actually going to turn up to Sochi. Imagine if this was any other minority, like Jews, or blacks, or whatever. There'd be huge condemnation from all, including our western gov's. Yet it seems that because it's only the gays the gov's don't want to rock the Sochi boat.
