Milne, Greens Leader, on CNBC - excellent interview

Christine Milne of the Greens has been on this "CNBC" show in the US, and it looks like here as well by the Aussie guy on it. I just about passed out from all the shit they put on the screen (you'll see when you watch it, like info overload, are they trying to look intelligent?) but Milne shines through. She is one cool lady, cutting through everything with clear language and forceful speech. She started in the Tasmanian parliament which was well known for being rough.

She calls Abbott's present overseas trip a "climate denial recruitment tour", although I do think that that statement is a bit tongue in cheek after the New Zealand PM hadn't even heard about the proposed anti-climate alliance, and agrees with climate change anyway. A sly jab at Abbott, who she's already stated that he can't be trusted in negotiations. A twisting of the knife at his non-existent ability to negotiate. A bit of Australian humour there, too subtle for the US commentators to pick up on :)

She's also asked questions more wide ranging about the budget and why the Greens are completely opposed to it. Again, she pulls no punches.....
