Dying Peter Short ponders Abbott's morality - tick tock...

This is just horrible. Peter Short will be dead soon and has been trying and trying to get a visit with PM Abbott to discuss him allowing his party to have a conscience vote on dying with dignity. Once again Abbott is showing how cruel and heartless he is.

With that said Mr PM, I am starting to feel I am playing a waiting game, i.e. you are just waiting me out. Unfortunately you can, as I will inevitably die in the next few months and be out of your way. Please don’t let it end that way for either of us. We will have a positive experience, promise. more

FFS the man is dying. WTF is Abbott bloody waiting for?
 
All I can say at the moment is that I don't particularly like Peter's chances of getting a meeting with Abbott. He's likely to dismiss it as a "stunt" and not take part in it. Just as he did with dying Bernie Banton who tried to meet with Abbott when he was health minister in the Howard gov:
