Lieberal Premier Newman could lose his seat - Queensland

The coal powered fascist gov of Campbell Newman in Queensland, even if it does manage to win the next state election soon, may find itself without their glorious leader. Newman is in trouble in his own electorate, with latest polling showing him 10 points behind the Labor opposition candidate.
Queensland Premier Campbell Newman faces the prospect of a one-term reign as a new poll puts former Ashgrove MP Kate Jones ahead 55-45 on a two-party preferred basis.

A ReachTEL poll of voters commissioned by The Sunday Mail and Channel Seven also put Labor candidate Ms Jones ahead of Mr Newman when it came to first preference votes in the inner Brisbane electorate - 47.9 per cent to 40.7 per cent. more
Reminds me a bit of when John Howard lost his own seat in his last federal election in 2007. He was the first PM to have that happen to him since the 1920's. The Lieberals appear to think that just because things like this haven't happened in recent decades across Australia then it won't happen now :s

I'm sure lovers of the Great Barrier Reef will find this polling immensely satisfying :)
