Abbott & Shorten don't listen to Pope - gut the RET

The Lieberals and Labor have banded together and gutted Australia's Renewable Energy Target. This will allow native forests to be cut down redefined as "clean" energy and have an enormous impact on what's left of Australia's renewable energy industry.

Brandis in the below video, where the Greens ask if the gov is going to listen to someone as influential as the Pope, brushes it off claiming they won't make policy according to religion. He reiterates the mantra that "coal is good for humanity" as well. In reality this is a very sad day for humanity. For the Australian economy both present and future. For our South Pacific neighbours. For our native wildlife.

Australia has become a ship of fools.
