YouTube suspends Right Wing Watch's account over cow scat pastor protest

Right Wing Watch has been one of the very few outlets reporting on cow scat pastor Swanson's call to kill the gays, of which Huckabee, Cruz, and Jindal attended and spoke at. The US main stream media has barely touched it, apart from a long report by Rachel Maddow (video below, starts at about the 6 minute mark) who used some of Right Wing Watch's footage. It seems the US main stream media has given a big shrug to cow scat pastor and his call for death to gays.

In the mean time, some stupid copyright complaint has been made to YouTube by cow scat pastor cohorts (or maybe cos scat man himself?) who are really pissed off I guess that the videos have made it into the blogo-sphere and sort of into the main stream via Maddow. Maddow remains the only main stream outlet in the US reporting on death to gays conference of which presidential candidates attended.

So Right Wing Watch has had it's YouTube account suspended over it, well for now. Do not adjust your set though. They've been suspended before from other people and have had little trouble getting their account reinstated, so their videos will be back up soon I'd say.
Last night, our YouTube account was suspended after we received a baseless copyright violation claim on one of our videos from Kevin Swanson’s National Religious Liberties Conference. As a result, all of Right Wing Watch’s existing videos are temporarily unavailable.

We’ve filed a counter-claim and are working to have our account (and all of our videos) back up as soon as possible. In the meantime, it’s still business as usual here at Right Wing Watch. We’re still reporting on the Far Right, and will be posting videos to a backup YouTube channel for the time being.

Thanks for your support! Right Wing Watch
