Bad laws that criminalise HIV and increase infections (video)

The stigma and shame of having HIV continues into this century, despite it now being a manageable disease with little consequence to the wider community. But in some parts of the world it's still criminalised, the consequences to those communities being that HIV positive people go underground for fear of being punished, don't get treated and eventually an HIV outbreak happens.

There's even one case in the video where an HIV positive man, with an undetectable viral load, was convicted for having sex and got 25 years jail. In the US.

Stigma is the worst enemy of getting rid of HIV.
