We've first had my union the AMWU demonised by the Abbott gov, that gov announcing that the AMWU was "at war with Toyota". Such language is simply a lie, let alone deceptive....... he he .........
So here is Dave Noonan's response for his union: the CFMEU , as now the Abbott gov is demonising them too and wants to bring back that dreadful and unfair ABCC (Australian Building and Construction Commissioner) which put building workers in like a gulag type working category. In fact some taken to court for not disclosing what was discussed in a union meeting. Of course they don't want that. One construction worker dies a week in Australia. Does Abbott actually think these people are going to go back to having no rights again as they did under Howard?
The video is a concise and forthright interview. Watch it all from the start to end. Lastly he puts a challenge to all making allegations of corruption about his union in the Murdoch media to either put up or shut up. Take it to the cops. Make the allegations official. Let the courts decide what's right and wrong, not the Abbott gov and the Murdoch media.
