David got a job interview next week :)

It's been a long road coming back from what his last work did to him; discriminating against his HIV. Thankfully he's had support through it all, counseling, social workers, his doctor, even though it's been a year from hell with the money. Most recently a getting back to  work service connected with Centrelink has also been helping him put his resume back together and apply for a few nursing jobs. They're even paying $250 for him to do a 2 day course to get his St Johns first aid skills up to date this Monday and Tuesday.

He got rang yesterday to be told he'd been selected in the last three applicants out of 100 people, for a rehab hospital nearby here. Exactly what he wants. His area of expertise. So fingers crossed, but to be honest I'd be surprised if he didn't get it. He's got an excellent resume, nursing for nearly 30 years, despite all this that he's gone through this year.

So hey, we may be ending the year from hell on a high note. Fuck I'd not want another one like this has been again. Nearly losing the place we're in because his work sabotaged his Centrelink claim for a Sickness Allowance, long drawn out delays by Centrelink on top of it, having to seek help from charity, nearly going bankrupt twice, me having severe panic attacks.... It certainly hasn't been fun.
