Shooter Mark misfires

Russell Mark, the trap shooter who has gained much notoriety on this blog recently for his whinging and whining about the accommodation at the Olympic village and not being able to room with his wife, has failed to qualify.

Ha ha ha ha.... it seems that karma does exist. Another wanker goes down, beautiful to watch. Now this is what I call inspiring!

LONDON's mid-summer gloom has ended double trap shooter Russell Mark's long and decorated Olympic career - and possibly his Glasgow Commonwealth Games aspirations as well.

Mark, 48, was out-performed by younger rivals with sharper eyes and reflexes in overcast conditions at the Royal Artillery Barracks.

Confirming this was his sixth and final Olympic appearance, Mark said he would wait until November before deciding on whether to continue to Glasgow in 2014.

The Victorian finished 20th in qualifying with rounds of 43, 41, 44 for a total of 128 before dismissing suggestions the decision by Australian officials to stop him from rooming with his wife and fellow shooter Lauryn was a factor in his performance.

Nice one Mark. Wonderful use of taxpayers money there. Just think, the only thing you will be remembered for in this Olympics is being a whinger. Gold medal for that!

Ah, I feel so much better now. I was pretty pissed off after doing that last post.
