Abbott seriously insults Australian Aboriginals

Abbott is known well and truly for his foot in mouth stuff ups, but this one is out there even for him. At first I thought it was just some slip of the tongue and he said "unsettled" as the wrong word. But when I read the whole sentence I saw it was much much more. It was a premeditated sentence. You can see he was thinking when he said it, apparently "choosing his words carefully"?

It's not just a one word slip up. It's a sentence thought out and spoken purposefully, as you can see in the video. It shows his true beliefs in regard to Aboriginals. IMO an incredibly racist one.

They deserve to feel well and truly insulted today from their white Prime Minister.
“I guess our country owes its existence to a form of foreign investment by the British government in the then unsettled or, um, scarcely-settled, Great South Land." more
