Another surprise from the new senate. This one is right out of the blue. One of the new senators from the Liberal Democrat party has made quite a stunning demand of the politicians in Canberra to pull their bloody fingers out with gay marriage. He has asked his fellow conservatives to hold marriage equality in the same regard as ending slavery and the advent of woman's rights. Very strongly worded.
