Kiera's front leg is sore - bandaged

Here she is the old dear:

I dunno how a cat in her 18th year of life manages to look cute wearing a bandage, but Kiera pulls it off with ease. She's very smart too, using her natural look along with her knowledge of a camera. She appears to know that she should pose for it, and does. As she's done in this picture.

Anyway her leg got swollen and she was limping around the house the poor old dear. So nurse David has been applying Voltaren cream to the leg, rubbing it in, and bandaging the swelling. The bandaging is to stop her licking the Voltaren but just as good applies pressure to the swelling. So far it's not a miraculous treatment but it's certainly helping a lot. She's walking better later when it's taken off and the swelling has gone down considerably.

We dunno how much longer this lovely little old dear is going to last, but I'm sure the cutness will be there to the end :)
