NSW police apologise for their violence at the first 1978 Mardi Gras

Following last weeks apology by the New South Wales parliament to the 1978 Mardi Gras marchers, for the violence and pain caused by the police brutality inflicted on the protestors, the New South Wales police have also apologised.

However the 1978 marchers present thought it was all quite weak as the apology didn't come from the NSW police commissioner himself.
