Australia now 23 straight years of growth

What "budget emergency"? Why am I being targeted for nothing? Australia is recording it's 23rd year of consecutive economic growth, this year running at a better than expected 3.5%. ComSec economist Craig James heaps praise on Australia's economy:
CommSec chief economist Craig James has lauded the figures, pointing out that Australia is now in its 23rd consecutive year of economic growth.

"The latest data serves as a wake-up call. Despite some perceptions to the contrary, the Australian economy is doing well. In fact it's doing very well," he said.

"The economy is growing comfortably above its trend or normal pace, inflation is under control, interest rates are at historic lows, productivity is solid and home construction and exports are leading the way forward." more
The gov is caught in it's own trap/lie.

Of course smokin sloppy Joe is taking all the credit, despite whenever something goes wrong it's always the fault of the last gov. So Joe, how about ditching the Medicare tax then?
