Labor ahead in polling - Morgan

Well it hasn't taken long. Labor hadn't even elected a new leader when this Morgan poll was taken, from a large sample of 3,199 voters. This was done when Abbott was in Indonesia proceeding to destroy Australia's relationship with it over boat arrival refugees. His fuckwit policy of turning back the boats, buying the boats, gagging the press when new boats come, and not giving a fuck about the largest Muslim country on earth on our doorstep, didn't exactly engender him to the Australian public. Only weeks after the election, this is the first poll showing Labor ahead of the Coalition, albeit just ahead. 

The ALP (50.5%, up 1% since the Morgan Poll of September 21/22, 2013) now leads the L-NP (49.5%, down 1%) on a two-party preferred basis according to the multi-mode Morgan Poll conducted last weekend (October 5/6, 2013) on Federal voting intention with an Australia-wide cross-section of 3,199 Australian electors aged 18+. more

Perhaps people are starting to get a bit shit scared of what this talentless spoilt moron is going to do to the country? Australia has had tensions with Indonesia before, but I've not seen anything like this in my time here. Abbott has basically given them the finger. Fuck, if they wanted to invade they'd just fuckin walk in, throw people at us. There's fuck all protecting Australia's north, if Abbott wants to go down the path of turning Indonesia into an enemy. Some kangaroos I suppose. The odd navy ship. That's about it.

On a hopeful front, looks like the other maniac Clive Palmer is going to block the fuck out of Abbott in the senate, after joining up with an independent and making a 4 person balance of power thing (sending Clive mad with power in the process). For those who may not know, Clive Palmer was part of the LNP in Queensland and resigned in disgust. Now it looks like he's after revenge.....

I'm wondering, after this election and the likes of Palmer and Abbott gaining power, if democracy means we're going to elect idiots. Fuckin Mickey Mouse could do better than those two combined.
