Philippines Manny Pacquiao quotes Bible death to gays verse, after Nike fired him

*Update: He says he was "right. I mean I am just stating the truth, what the Bible says."

More love from the christians.....

I guess gays will be crossing the Philippines off any travel list they might have. Boxer Manny Pacquiao, who is currently a member of the Philippines house of representatives (and trying for a senate seat) after recently saying gays are worse than animals, was fired by his sponsor Nike over it.

However he has gained some support over the comment within the Philippines itself, the opposition leader there backing him up by saying "It's better for them to go to planet Mars." Who cares about the gays right? They're just a minority and won't matter in an election right?

Manny, only a short time after being fired by Nike, appears to have done the christian thing again and gotten all bitter and twisted, wanting to avenge those evil gays I guess for losing the Nike sponsorship. Yes folks, no turning the other cheek with him....

So he puts up the usual Leviticus bible babble about death to the gays on Instagram. It was deleted but not before news agencies took screen shots of it. The post is above.

Don't you just love the love heart at the bottom of the evil gays bible babble?
Manny Pacquiao is doubling down on his anti-gay stance -- posting a bible verse that condones putting gays to death ... hours after he was fired by Nike.

The Filipino news agency ABS-CBN captured an Instagram Manny put up early Thursday morning quoting Leviticus 20.13:

"If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death, their blood will be on their own heads."
The post has since been deleted. TMZ
